- We wanna take a look at some disk based outputs, but there's a few things to keep in mind before we start on that. First of all, we say disk based outputs, but really this is decreasing more and more as bandwidths have gone up and digital online delivery has become more and more common. The only two disk based outputs that we really think about at all anymore are DVD and Blu ray, and frankly DVD is really on the wane as well, not that many people have DVD players, but some do, and some people would still prefer to get their video on DVD, particularly in say an education market, there's still a lot of DVDs being sold. And Blu ray is still a high quality way to play HD video in a screening environment, or something like that, it does generally have a higher bit rate than would any downloaded online video. So they are still somewhat useful. The other thing to keep in mind is that when we're working in Adobe Media Encoder, we are making files that can go onto these types of disks, but…
