Editing captions in Final Cut Pro X

- Once you've brought captions into a Final Cut Pro X project, it's possible to edit them and adjust their properties. Let's zoom in here a little bit to see each one a bit more clearly. - [Narrator] It's your car, you take it to people you trust. - [Instructor] That seems good, and it's about at the right time, it came in a little late. I see that the audio starts there, and the caption was delayed. So I can just click on the edge of the caption, and drag that out to better match the dialog. - [Narrator] It's your car, you take it to people you trust. - If you want to avoid a total rebuild, you're-- - [Instructor] Now I like this, but let's modify slightly. Taking a look here, I can see the ability to adjust options like alignment. So what I wanna do is take the narrator and center those. I'll leave the dialog left justified, which is good for the character, except he doesn't say lankings, he says linkage. So let's select that and modify. I'll just double click, and it updates. Now…
