I'm going to explain the thought process I go through when I shoot and edit tight and wide shots and matched-action sequences. I already got a sequence of shots loaded up here inside this Premiere Pro timeline. Actually, this is called a sequence inside Premiere Pro. So to avoid confusion, this whole thing here inside Premiere Pro is a sequence, and we're editing a sequence of connected shots here inside the sequence. Nevertheless, I've got the sequence loaded up inside Premiere Pro and I'm not going to explain how to edit a sequence. That's really something you can learn in one of the many other lynda. com courses that refer to video editors. Just choose a course that's based on the editor that you work with. Nevertheless, let's just take a look at these shots and that's the first thing that I do when I edit a sequence.
