- We've mentioned the word spill before. And it's something you have to pay attention to throughout the shoot. Matt, in this case we have a bright green backdrop. And fortunately, Sarah has dark hair. But if her hair was blonde, we would even see potentially green reflecting. - Yeah, that's right Rich. And so, one of the things we have to work on when we're doing green screen setup is minimizing that spill as much as we can. So, there's a couple different ways to do that. One is to remember when you're doing your setup is to try and keep as much separation from your subject and the backdrop as you can. - See right here we've got about four feet or so from the backdrop, which is good. - Right. - If it was closer, we would see this potentially reflecting on the skin. And even though her hair is darker, you might not see it with the naked eye, there could be hints of green being picked up. - Right, that's exactly right.…
