- If you're going to be exporting a project you might want to add additional metadata before you export it. This way when you post to another website for it starts to move around the Internet, some of the information such as copyright or contact information can be included. Let me show you how. To do this go back to your project and select something such as a sequence. I'll just go here to the review sequence. And make sure the metadata panel is open. Now, what I can do is scroll through and look at the relative information. For example, let's go down here to the file and take a look at the Rights Management category. I could include information such as the owner. (typing noise) I could add a web statement. We can go down here to other categories such as Basic. And you see we can add information about the file. An identifier number. Under Dublin Core, we see things like the author field. Sometimes filling in this extra information, such as a copyright notice here, is a good idea. Now,…
