- [Narrator] There are a lot of keyboard shortcuts available in Premiere Pro that have not been mapped by default. And by that I mean, you could have a key that triggers an action in Premiere Pro, the functionality exists, but no key has yet been assigned. Let's look at how to do this, and let's use one of my favorite unmapped keyboard shortcuts. I'm going to the Premiere Pro application menu, and going into keyboard shortcuts. This is under the edit menu in Windows. And in the keyboard shortcuts dialog box, I think when you first encounter it, it looks like a bit of a mess. Up at the top you've got presets, and that's pretty useful. I would never recommend using any of the presets taken from other applications unless you're absolutely in an emergency switching from one of those other applications.
