- [Instructor] So besides being able to choose a text animation preset inside of After Effects, we can also create our own. And I'm just gonna give you a basic idea of how you can do this, and save this as a preset, so that you can use this over and over again in your projects. And once you get more familiar with this method, this could be a great way for you to Animate Type. I am in my Chapter 3_5 Composition, and I have a layer here called Animating Type. I wanna Reveal its Properties, by just Pressing the Disclosed Triangle. And on a text layer, you have these built in animation properties that we can easily keyframe to create some stunning animations, and they are primarily what you saw that was available as text presets. So you could even start from them, and then tweak it as you see fit. If I Press the Play button here, you'll see a variety of different parameters available, specifically for text. I'm just gonna Choose a Basic Opacity value, and we'll see at the bottom of this…
