Expanding options with a gradient wipe
- [Narrator] In this movie we're going to take a look at getting the most out of a gradient wipe inside of Adobe Premier Pro. I'm here in my chapter one_seven sequence. And inside the sequence, within my effects workspace, I'm going to head to my effects tab and under the video transitions section, head to the wipe category and apply the gradient wipe to my edit point. Once I release the mouse, here are the settings that show up, and this dialog box as we saw in the last movie asks us to select an image. If we don't, it's then going to use this gradient to perform the transition that you see here. I'm going to press okay to accept these settings. Move my playhead a little bit earlier in the timeline. And once I press the space bar, we'll just see that this transition might not always be what we want to use to transition between two clips.
