- [Instructor] Boldly speaking, there are two ways that you will change the playback speed of your clips in Premiere Pro. One way is in the project panel. You can right-click on a clip or multiple clips, go to modify, interpret footage, and specify a new frame rate for playback. If you've over-cranked in camera, that means recording more frames per second than you need, you can use this dialogue box to change the actual number of frames that Premiere Pro will play back per second. I'll just cancel out of this for now. The other way is to use some form of visual effect that will either extract or add frames as necessary. I'm in the fast and slow motion sequence here, and we've got a shot that has some pretty straightforward motion. I'll just play a little bit of this from the start. If I want this to play back faster, I can right-click on the clip in the sequence, scroll down to speed duration, and specify a new playback…
