Fixing plosives

- What is a plosive? Well, a plosive is a consonant that is produced by stopping all the airflow and then releasing it. Letters like a T, a K, or a P, are usually produced by stopping the air flow and then releasing Pa, Ta, Ka. What this does is that by releasing all the air all at once you could be recording really loud sounds when those letters are spoken. You could use a pop filter to help attenuate all of this air, hitting the mic at the same time. But this is during the recording. However, if the plosive was already recorded, then we need to fix it. And that's what this movie is all about. Let's go ahead and open the sequence named 6.4 "Fixing plosives." As usual go to the sequences bin, chapter six and we go to 6.4, fixing plosives, and here we go. Now, let's send this directly to audition because in Premiere, there are ways of fixing it.
