Formatting open captions
- The beautiful thing about open captions is it just widens all of your formatting capabilities. You can change font, color, and outline. It's negative, of course, is it's gonna be burned into your final video. So, with that being said, let's take a look at the formatting options we have. Here on my timeline I balance out my windows a little bit, just a little bit more so we can see our program window a little bit better. You can see my text up top. And with text actually selected here, I can start by picking a different font. And these are all those type kit fonts Adobe gives you as well as the ones on your system. I'll take Arial Black 'cause it's very visible. I'll take the size up a little bit. I can change it's positioning here with this grid or I can scrub to specific values. I can eye dropper and pick a background color or give it an edge color. Now, the golden rule about edge colors, is you're gonna give it a dark color for the edge and a light color for the text or vise…
