Getting a sense of direction and performance

- Now that we know the actual dialogue of our script, as well as the general emotions and energies that we'll be getting from each iteration of the script, now we're going to move on to intention. Let's get a glimpse of what the director and actors discuss prior to the shoot. And, just so you know, I didn't tell the director anything about my intentions for these scenes. I didn't want to bias his direction for the shoot, so I let he and the actors work out the scene intentions for themselves. So, to get a sense of how the director and actors arrived at each scene's intentions, I have some behind-the-scenes footage between Scott Erickson, the director, and the actors, Kiersten Armstrong, who plays Susan, and Michael Stone, who plays Joe. The audio on these behind-the-scenes conversations isn't the best, so I've also added some subtitles for you.
