How to dehum mic audio
- [Instructor] The dehum control in the Essential Sound Panel deserves a special mention. Have a listen to this audio. I mean the dehum sequence. - [Woman] Something I can't say what it was, but suffice to say. - [Instructor] That hum is generated by the electrical mains supply. And depending on where you are in the world, it'll be at 50 hertz or 60 hertz. Because we know that's the frequency. It's relatively straightforward to remove. Although it does produce harmonics, so you'll have multiple pieces of interference at different frequencies. I'm going to select these three clips that have the hum and all I need to do in this Central Sound Panel is enable the dehum control. But you need to know which frequency it is. So if I said this to 50 hertz and play, - [Woman] I would know when I saw it. - [Instructor] No help at all. I'll just select these again and switch to 60 hertz and let's have another listen. -…
