How to get the best key in Adobe Premiere Pro

- Sometimes you might encounter footage that's a bit rough. Maybe it was shot highly compressed, or not the best lighting. There are a few things you can do to improve the results you get inside of Premiere Pro. Now, let's go ahead and navigate to the New Footage bin. And I'm going to select an older clip here, the one called Fields that we worked with before. Very low quality, standard definition. I'm going to right-click and create a new sequence from that clip. Now, let's just put this up one track higher. We'll mark the clip. And I'm just going to drop a background in there. You can take any of the backdrops we used from before. I'll go with background one here. We'll just drag that out. Now, what I want to do is key this footage. I'm going to zoom in here to 200% for a moment so you can really see some of the details. And this is pretty low quality footage. You'll see that it's relatively soft at the edge. Now, this softness has nothing to do with the focus of the camera and…
