- Adobe Media Encoder has a lot of great tools for encoding video for mobile devices. Before we get into that, I wanted to take a second to research how we would actually determine what are the best formats for our mobile device. Now the nice thing here is you're not gonna actually have to worry a lot about this because Adobe has done that for you in the presets. However, these formats do change and they get updated and Adobe's settings don't always keep up with them. So it's a good idea to at least familiarize yourself with what these settings look like and be able to research what are the current best settings for whatever device you're using. So here I'm in the developer site for Android, and you can find a similar place for iPad, iPhone, IOS devices as well, and you see that I'm at the video support section.
