Increased audio range
- If you need to boost audio, Premiere Pro has a little bit more flexibility than the past. You used to be able to boost audio, but only six decibels when using things like the track mixer. Now, however, that's been raised to 15 decibels. Now, if you open up a legacy project, you're going to see that it's going to cap out at six, but if you take a project that's new or you import it into a new project, it's going to work out well. And this is great for both the audio clip envelope that you might add, the rubber bands that you use the pen tool for, as well as in the mixer. So here we go, let's take a look here and bring up the Audio Track Mixer. And what you'll notice is an increased range. Now, I'm not going to play this back, but previously this would stop at +6. Now we don't have that issue. Let's just make this a little bigger and you'll see finer controls there. So we can go all the way up to +15 decibels here,…
