- When we talk about mastering and archiving, basically we're talking about different strategies to save final copies of pieces to last forever, and be at the highest quality. Now, sometimes there are compromises to be made between highest quality and file size, depending on exactly what our needs are. I wanna look at a few choices inside Adobe Media Encoder that can facilitate this type of output. Now, in other movies we've discussed broadcast delivery, and those formats are also going to be very good for this type of mastering or archiving. In this case I just wanna look at a few formats that are less relevant for broadcast delivery, but still potentially relevant for good archiving or master files. Let's take a look. I'm here in Adobe Media Encoder, and we've talked about the QuickTime format for use for broadcast delivery. And you may wanna choose one of the GoPro CineForm codecs for this use.
