Master graphics
- Ordinarily, if you make changes to a copy of a graphic or a title, the changes made to the copy won't update the original. But you can create what's called a Master Graphic that will update everywhere regardless of where you modify it. Let's take a look. Here I've got a graphic in my Master Graphics sequence, and I'm holding down Option here in macOS; this is alt in Windows; as I drag out to create a copy. You can also use regular Copy and Paste controls. In the copy, I'm going to double-click to select this text, and I'll change this word to "New." And click away to deselect. It looks like I need to make a couple of adjustments to the background to that text, but if I go back to the original copy, you can see it's unmodified. I'll just select and remove that copy. But let's say I'm going to use a graphic multiple times in multiple sequences, or perhaps multiple times in the same sequence, As different character names…
