Modifying buttons on the user interface
- [Instructor] Let's talk about how to customize your user interface by adding and modifying the button layout, which are these spaces underneath the source and the program monitor. All right, so first before teaching you how to add buttons, I'm actually going to teach you how to remove buttons from your layout. You just come to this wrench here, and then you want to uncheck show transport controls. Okay, so if you're 100% on the keyboard, and you don't use buttons, doing this can give you a little more real estate if you want. But I'm going to turn those back on, show transport controls. And let's talk about adding and modifying buttons. I'm going to come to this little plus sign here. This is the button editor, and if I click on it, my button palette opens up. And you can hover over each of these, and a little tool tip will pop up and tell you what the command is, as well as the keyboard shortcut associated with it.…
