Navigating the Premiere Pro Caption panel
- We're gonna wanna make a couple a customizations to Premiere Pro, just to have an easier time working with the captions panel and actually seeing the captions panel. So the first thing I'm gonna wanna do in Premiere is make sure my V2 tracker or whatever your captions are on is tall enough that you can actually see the captions directly in the timeline. I'm gonna double click on one of the captions and it bring up the captions panel. And if your captions panel, even it it's up here in sort of the upper quadrant which is traditionally for the source monitor, I'm gonna click and drag and hold it until it floats. You can see it's kinda floating here across this parallelogram, sort of pyramid looking shape. If I release here it splits this window, this panel in half horizontally. I'm gonna split it in half vertically to the right. And I'm doing this because I really don't need my source information, but I'd like the panel to live on its own so I can easily get to access all this…
