- (Rich) We mentioned organization earlier. Now, we're going to walk you through getting organized. In this case, the sequence was cut a bit sloppily. Things are all over the place. And hopefully this will inspire you to start organized and stay organized all the way through. So Cheryl, let's open up that sequence and I imagine you get a lot of sequences like this that come in to your audio shop for mixing, right? I'll press the backslash key there to sort of spread it all out. - (Cheryl) Exactly. The thing that happens a lot with different sequences is that the voices tend to be intermingled a ton, meaning narration and dialogue are intermingled, sometimes we get both the lav and the boom so that we can choose properly which which mic we want to use, or maybe we want to blend them. So I recommend that you do that, that you keep both the microphones going until you are in the mix stage and make those decisions.
