- [Instructor] All types of trimming involve adding or removing frames from the shots in your sequence. And so far we've been using various tools to accomplish this through standard trims, ripples, rolls, slips, and slides, which are basically found within the tools in this tool palette. Now I'd like to introduce you to another type of trim that's just a keystroke away. And that's top and tail editing. All right, so let's take a look at this sequence here. We've seen this before, it is a roughed-in version of our interview segments. Everything is in the right order, but things are a little messy in terms of where the shots begin and end. It needs to be edited so the soundbites are cleaned up. So I'm going to just play over this first one here. - Er, the history of the bakery is. - [Instructor] All right, so we just need to eliminate the first few frames where she says er.
