- [Instructor] This next change affects a technology from Apple. However, ProRes is available for both Mac and Windows. You may recall that the ability to not just decode, but also encode or generate ProRes files, was added to a recent Premiere Pro update. Well now, the ProRes support continues to expand, and we get support for the ProRes RAW format. RAW allows for more image data and greater flexibility when editing. However, RAW files are typically very large. ProRes RAW was first released in 2018, but took a little bit to get caught up by other manufacturers and added into the pipeline. You'll find ProRes RAW support currently in beta applications for Adobe, but it will expect to be moved over to the mainline build very quickly. It's available for both After Effects and Media Encoder for visual effects and final delivery, as well as both Premiere Pro and Premiere Rush. So you can work with this on a variety of devices.…
