Processing background images in Photoshop

- With Photoshop, there's a wealth of opportunities. Let's explore a few more commands that are useful when cleaning up your background plates, especially for removing distracting objects. My suggestion, before you call a background done, is evaluate it for any distractions. Now if you were working with duplicate layers, that's fine, or go ahead and duplicate the layer again by pressing Command + J. You've now got some awesome tools like the patch tool. This allows you to select any object that might be distracting and drag to a new area. And when you release, it blends it, so some of these objects here in the background that are just distracting, I could select simpler areas and when I let go, they are removed from the scene, which works out nicely. Let's take this garbage can, for example, and just remove that and let it blend a little. And that works pretty nicely. If needed, you can also try tools like the spot…
