Processing plates in Camera Raw

- Let's jump in to Adobe Camera Raw where we can work with our raw files to give them the right look. What we're going to talk about here is just getting the right exposure and potentially fixing some common problems that you'll face with background plates. I've navigated to the folder here in Adobe Bridge and I'm going to select all the images and right-click and choose Open in Camera Raw. Even if they're not raw files, you can still force them to open in the Camera Raw, which is pretty versatile. Let's take a look here and develop these images to work well as a background plate. First up, I suggest you click Auto to get a good basic exposure. Then you can decide if you want to lighten or darken based upon the type of foreground object that you're going to be using. Additionally, feel free to take advantage of the Graduated Filter here. This allows you to drag and make a gradual change in the image. I'll reset…
