- The publish tab is used when you want to render a clip and immediately upload it to your server or other places on the web. Let's go through it. Let's go ahead and open the sequence named 2.7 publish. So sequences, chapter two, and of course, we're going to go to 2.7 publish. Let's go ahead and export this. Ctrl + M on windows, Cmd + M on the Mac. And let's go ahead to the publish tab in here. So if I want to export this directly to the Adobe Creative Cloud, I select this, I choose my Creative Cloud file, and I can even add a subfolder, maybe to Behance, which is also an Adobe platform. I can go into the account, I can sign in, I can have a description and tags, and I can even delete the local file after I upload. FTP, or file transfer protocol, this is for when you have an FTP, say from your client, or from your office work, and you want to leave this rendering, and you want to upload it to the FTP immediately.
