Quick export to speed up exports
- While you likely find tools like Adobe Media Encoder and the export dialogue, powerful in Premiere, they can be a bit cumbersome. You have to open them, settle out of options. And this is sometimes more steps than you want. To combat this, Premiere adds a new quick export function. It's not that the export itself is quicker but the ability to set up the job is really fast. What you'll need to do is just have a sequence open, then in the upper corner here, you'll see Quick Export. When you click this, it gives you a bunch of simple options. Notice, now, we can decide what to do with the material. First step, we're asked to choose a location. I'm just going to choose my desktop here because I was once told I should put all my files there. That's a joke, but you can obviously target a particular place for export.
