- Now that we've got everything set up, it's time to actually do the edit. Now, editing multi-camera material is very much something you have to get a feel for. So, it's going to be important that you really wrap your head around what's going on here, and just simply put all the pieces together in a way that actually tells a story. Now, to do this, I'm going to edit this in real time. You can decide to stop watching at any point or skip to the end, but don't try to follow along and do the edits exactly like I do. Rather, get familiar with the footage and apply your own style. Now, there's certain given things, like when one talent's talking, you might want to mostly be on that talent. But sometimes there's a great reaction shot, and you might want to cut away to the person who's listening. But it's really up to you if you use the overhead angle, or the chase camera angle to tell the story. And do keep in mind that some of the edits we make will be wrong, because that chase camera's…
