Reduce reverb
- [Instructor] Go ahead and open sequence three point three, reduce reverb, and play the timeline. (trumpets playing) So, a very nice trumpet fanfare, but, I can't help but hear a lot of echo in there. So, let's go ahead and select the clip and let's try to apply an effect to get rid of the reverb. But, here's the thing, if you classify this as music, in the effect controls panel, there is no way in here to repair the music to get rid of the reverb. If we want to get rid of the reverb, while this is classified as music, we can go into the effects panel, type de-reverb and apply the reverb effect. And you will be able to get rid of the reverberation this way. However, if you still want to use the essential sound panel, you can do that simply by classifying the audio as dialogue. If you classify it as dialogue, it's still going to process it the same way because all you need to do is select only the reduce reverb from right here and, by the way, notice that it adds the de-reverb effect…
