- Keylight offers many controls. And in fact, a lot of folks are a bit intimidated by the effect. Let me break it down and show you some of the most important With my footage layer selected here. I see my keylight effect. Let's twirl that down to get a bit more access. And I'll make this window a bit larger, so I have a little more room. Now the first thing to look at is the view. This let's you take a look at the individual elements. I'm going to temporarily turn off the advance spill suppression so it doesn't go after the green. As you can see there, the source is pretty straight forward. That's the original. And you can see any alpha channel details in the original file. The corrected source is showing you what happens next once you start to clean things up. In this case, the correction is the foreground color correction, which can be processing the shot as you see there.
