Refining the key in Final Cut Pro X

- With the clip selected mouse-over and click on the video inspector, and this will reveal the two filters that we've applied, our color correcter filter, and the keyer filter. Now let's walk through the keyer filter and I'll show you some of the sliders that you can use to adjust and refine your key. The first thing I want you to look at are these three little images. This allows you to look at the composite image by pressing the first button. The middle button, allows you to see the actual key. Anything that's solid white is where you'll see the foreground. And anything that's black is where we'll see the background, or the beach. If it's gray, it's translucent. And that could ultimately be problematic. And to the right of that, the little blue and black icon allows me to see the original shot. And this is very useful if you don't have a clean key.
