Reframing 360 footage
- [Instructor] In Final Cut Pro X, besides using 360 footage in 360 projects, we can also place them inside flat projects, such as HD or 4K projects, and the magic of this is that we can film 360 but then decide on our frame, which is filming everywhere, later. So let's just see how this is done. I'm here in my 360 and FCP 10 library. There is no project for this movie 'cause we're going to create one, and with the library selected, you can go to file, new, project, and what we want to do is call this 360 in HD, and make sure your project is set to 1080 P, 1920 x 1080, and also mimic the frame rate of the existing footage that we have, which is 59.94. I'm choosing these settings, okay. A timeline is going to open up that's blank. We're going to head to our footage event, and under that, we've already created a favorite of our meditate clip here.
