Relighting a scene with Lighting effects
- Inside of Premiere, there's an old effect that's called lighting effects. It allows you to add virtual lights to a scene to change it's appearance. Let me show you. Here's the after of it. And here's the original. You can access this by going to the Effects panel and just typing in the world lighting. Then drag the filter on. Now you could take a look at some pretty straight forward controls. There are four lights and each can be adjusted. The first is a spotlight. Let's go ahead and adjust the radius here. And you see it makes it easy to change the lighting. We can adjust the overall radius, major and minor, to effect the shape of the light. A minor radius is going to allow the effect to be more subtle. We can also adjust the angle of the light to change where the spotlight is coming from. And the overall intensity of the effect. to be a very sharp edge or a much more diffused one. If you want to change it's position, that's pretty simple. Just move the center controls here and you…
