- If you're working with a motion graphics template you can also choose to better organize it by renaming things. A lot of times names are assigned by default or by the creator and that might not help you as you're working. So let's say we were working with this box outline here but we decided to change the shape. Well, I'll grab the pen tool here and add some additional control points. And I'm taking this to a different type of design. There we go. And let's say it was more of a crystalline type shape. Great. Remember, all of this is flexible and you can also go in here and add additional points if needed or shapes but calling this box no longer makes sense. So I can now simply double click on this and call it crystal. But maybe it's not even an outline anymore because I can also go in and change the fill. And let's fill that with a gradient fill and we'll go with a bluish color, just sort of an icy white. There we…
