Retiming clips and time effects
- [Instructor] In this movie, we going to take a look at retiming effects inside of Adobe premier pro. I'm here at my chapter to underscore eight sequence. And the first clip I have here in the timeline, we're going to use that fixed parameter of time to re-time our clip, with the first clip selected, head to the clip menu and choose speed duration. We'll have a dialog box that shows up and allows us to make a constant retiming of our clip. So instead of a speed of 100%, I'm going to set that to 200. You'll see, it's linked to the duration of the clip. Now this is going to make the clip shorter and it should be noted that the adjacent clips won't move with it. Unless we enable the ripple edit shift, trailing clips, let's press okay, and see that occur. Now we've added a 200% speed. If we take a closer look at our clip in the timeline by pressing the equal key, we'll see that a 200% speed box was a two percent speed…
