Ripple delete all gaps in a range or selection
- As you work in a timeline, it's gotten a lot easier to remove things like gaps. Remember a gap could be caused by dragging and dropping elements or removing things or dragging it around. And you might end up with an unwanted gap that will show as a flash to black in the middle of your project. Well now, it's a lot easier to clean those up with a simple menu command. Now in this particular sequence here, we've got a lot of different gaps. And you'll notice in new command under the sequence menu called close gap. This will analyze the sequence and find any gaps. Now let's undo that. And you'll notice this is a gap. So is this. While this appears to be a gap here, there is a clip overlaying it. So it didn't break sync. Over here we have a large gap, but just a small space between this clip and this clip. So when we close the gap, you'll notice that it's just trying to make sure that there's coverage of a video signal across all tracks. Let's go ahead and undo for a moment. If you make…
