Saving basic corrections as an Input LUT

- Earlier, I applied an Input LUT to process footage. But you can make your own Input LUTs. An Input LUT is really a set of corrections that should be applied at the beginning. And if you have footage that was shot under similar conditions or with the same camera you might be able to create a custom Input LUT to quickly jumpstart the footage. Let me show you three shots that have a similar problem. I'll go to my next sequence here and you'll see some footage. In this case what I have are three shots shot on a Sony camera in a wildlife park. If we take a look at the basic corrections here you'll see that a slight white balance was applied as well as tone adjustments in color. The original shot was Log and it used a lot of the dynamic range but it still didn't have the rich blacks or the bright whites that I wanted. Plus a slight colorcast in the snow was needed so that the white balance here gave us a nice pure white for the snow on the ground. The other shots are similar. Here's one…
