Sending a clip to Adobe Audition

- What is restorative audio work? Well to restore is to remove imperfections from audio recordings. Why go to Audition when we just saw how to do it in Premiere Pro? Because Audition has more tools. You see Audition is a dedicated audio program and it is therefore more powerful for many things. So, why send it to Audition? Because Premiere can't fix it. If Premiere can fix it then stay in Premiere Pro. But if not (chuckles), well, that's what this whole chapter is all about. Let's go ahead and open the sequence named 6.1: Sending a Clip to Adobe Audition. So go to the sequences bin, Chapter Six, 6.1, double click it and of course it opens up in the timeline. So we're going to be sending this clip to Adobe Audition. And to do that, all we have to do is right click it and then choose Edit Clip in Adobe Audition. But you see audition is destructive so Premiere is going to create a copy of this clip and send the copy to…
