Setting up a sequence

- Once you've marked your shots and have a plan, you're ready to start building your sequence. There are a few ways that you can start a sequence. The first one, which we've already explored, is to just drag and drop footage from either the bin or the source monitor into the timeline, and I'll do that now. So I have three subclips, I'll just select all of those, and I'll bring them straight from my bin into the timeline, and I'm just going to come over here and rename this, I'll call it Donut sequence demo one and I'm going to put in my sequence examples bin here. Now this is honestly the easiest way to create a new sequence, because Premiere Pro automatically creates this sequence based on the video properties of the first clip that you edit into the timeline. This is great because you don't have to predetermine what your video properties are. You just throw a clip in and let the software take care of it.
