Shooting the day kitchen scene
- So we're getting ready to do a switchover in the kitchen. We actually shot the first scene here, and we made it look like it was nighttime, although that shot was first thing in the morning. We did that because the sun position was actually on the opposite side of the house, so it was easier to control the light. Now that we're switching over and want it to look like morning, it's actually the middle of the afternoon, but it's worked out better because the sun position is coming in and by supplementing it with some HMI lighting, we're actually getting more light coming through the windows, so we're able to take advantage of the available light plus the light we're adding to really make it look believable, and it's giving us an attractive scene. In this case, we really wanna warm this up and have lots of bright light and reflections because emotionally in the spot, we're having a change from negative to positive.
