Shooting the living room scene
- So we're just finishing up our first location set for the day, we have been shooting in the living room and we're going to make this look a bit darker so the lighting and the color balance has been purposefully designed to make it feel a bit bluer and a little bit more like it's the end of the day. We've also built a commercial loop that's flickering through because we want to see the channel changing effect, so built all that and just made a looping DVD using some original footage and some stock footage. Now as we shoot we have to move things around the room so slight repositioning of the furniture to accommodate for lights, we're also playing with the depth of field as we adjust so it's working very well but it does require some changes of light to optimize for each angle as we go through the production.
