Shooting the parents' bedroom
- So we've moved up to the bedroom and we're getting set for the next scene. We want this to feel like it's late at night, so what we're doing is we're mixing the lighting styles. We have a series of practical lights that we're using, we've swapped out the lights overhead, we're trying to make it feel a little bit warmer, but at the same time we're gonna be color balancing the camera so it feels a bit cool. So we're finding this mixture of practical lights with the lights that we're adding, and we're really taking advantage of the full-frame DSLR sensor, so we can open it up and get a lot of light into the camera. We want to really minimize the use of artificial lighting in this scene. In order to create a transition, and show passage of time, we jump the couple forward and have them change to get ready for bed.
