Storing LUTS in a library

- If you want to collaborate with other users, you can also take advantage of a library. The library panel allows you to store things in a shared library that you can sync to multiple machines, including other users. To access libraries, just go under the window menu and bring up libraries. This will open up a new panel. Now, my suggestion is click here and choose to create a new library, let's call this LUTs for the office, and I'll click create. Now what I can do is add to this library, so if I park on a clip here, I can simply come to the bottom and click the plus sign here and say add a look. Now what it does, is it takes the name of the sequence. So I would suggest you give this a more descriptive name. And let's take this next one that's a little bit different, clip is highlighted and I'll audit, and let's rename that and within here, feel free to create groups. Now in order to do this, you'll just have to switch by viewing from type to viewing by group and you can easily make a folder, and start to store these. Let's maximize that panel and I can just drag them between groups to organize. Now, what we can do here from the panel, is you'll see a lot of controls. For example, I could choose to collaborate and invite other people. This will allow them to copy things into this particular group so if I'm working with an office, other people can add. If I chose share link, it will give them read only access so they can take what I've done, but not modify it. This will make it easy if they want to use the same LUTs in the project, but don't have the ability to add their own to the group. In any case, take advantage of these. You can also easily export these if you want and this will create a file. This file is going to be stored in a particular folder and then without using the cloud, you can still export this library file and allow others to import it on their machine. This means that they don't have to use the cloud to stay in sync, and it allows for offline access for those that are not using Adobe's Creative Cloud services.
