Taking control with the View menu
- In the past, if you wanted to take control over what was shown in program monitor, there were a lot of different places you had to go hunting. Now, there's a new view monitor to make it easier to access all of the commands. If you're used to clicking inside of Panel menus and finding options, those are still there and perhaps you would click on the panel menu and look for other settings. But now things are under View. So here we can control things like the playback quality. And you see it update. We could adjust the pause resolution and invoke the high quality playback method. Under Display mode, we could choose what we're seeing, the video, the alpha channel, multiple camera angles, or a side by side comparison view looking at different shots. We can adjust the magnification, customize the control strip of what items are being viewed. This is for your Mac, but you could also bring up rulers and guides, and take a look at different templates here for things like safe title margins…
