- Transcriptive is a plug-in on the market from Digital Anarchy. It happens to use artificial intelligence, AI, to build a transcript. With it, we can build captions in about 1/5th real time and very inexpensively. Here's how it works. Transcriptive can take a sequence and send it out for AI transcription. This costs about one to five cents a minute depending on which engine you use and it can happen five times real time or faster. What we're focusing on is that we can export the transcript after this fact and generate captions. Once we've generated transcript, we can then take that, export it, and then turn that into captions in Premier Pro. There's another way to work and it's the way I prefer. Instead of making transcripts from your final sequence, you do it from you individual interview clips. By doing so, you can actually edit directly from this metadata into Premier. And the bonus, of course, is your final sequence will have the correct text that you can export for a caption…
