Troubleshooting: Your video lacks clarity
- Even if the video itself is in focus, a video can lack clarity because the contrast isn't there. You could try increasing the contrast using Lumetri tools or you could also add a sharpening filter. Let's go ahead and open the sequence called 4.1 Clarity. So in the Sequences bin, chapter four, and of course, it's the first one, 4.1 Clarity. Double-click it here and of course it opens in the timeline. So there are two different things that we can do here. We can add an unsharp mask effect. For that, let's go into the effects panel. If you click on this icon here, you can choose Effects, and there you go. In here, in the search bar, you can type unsharp or just start typing it, and you're going to see the effect called unsharp mask under Blur and Sharpen.
