- Cheryl, I sometimes find that when I'm working in Premiere Pro it gets a little confusing. I've got what's happening in the timeline, what's happening in the mixer, what happens in the file. We've got mixing here and output there. Can you make a little sense of what's the difference between output and the timeline mixing? - Well, don't get your mix confused with your output. In Premiere, they give you so many different output options, you have different channels that you can output on. But if you're a stereo mix, left and right, channels one and two, don't confuse that with your mix. Those are valuable outputs that you're going to do later on for deliverable, but it doesn't have to do with your mix. - So, what's really happening here is that I should focus on getting something that sounds good in the timeline, and then we can think a little bit later about what happens when we write to the file.
