- One thing about the track mixer that a lot of people skip is that this little caret, if you drop it down, reveals where you can actually add gain to your signal flow. This is a really good time to actually discuss pre-fader and post-fader because you can understand, using the track mixer, what pre-fader and post-fader is. Now let's see what our signal flow looks like going through our track mixer, and then we'll manipulate different EQs and compressors so that you can see where your signal flow can be changed. And hit play. So you can see we have our audio and then our master over here, so when you're hitting, say on track two, and you add an EQ to the mix, it's right there, but when you start adding EQ, I'm just going crazy here. This is not something that you would normally do ever. You can automatically see where it is affecting the output. Your output is going to be higher over here because you are affecting, your adding frequency value to your signal flow here. So this is a…
