Use a text overlay
- One of the options in the effects tab of Adobe Media Encoder is the option to add a text overlay. I'm gonna show you how that works and why it's useful. Here we are in Adobe Media Encoder, and I wanna click through to our export settings. Here down in the effects tab, under image overlay, we have name overlay, and what this allows us to do is add the name of the file to the clip itself, and it will be overlaid there, it will be what we call burned in. But there are some other options, you're not really just stuck with the name, you can add a prefix, so that might be the project name, or something along those lines. Here are your choices for what to use as the file name, so we had the source file name, which I happen to like. A lot of times I often am reviewing footage, so to be able to quickly look and see what file am I looking at if I have to go back to it or make a note is useful to me. You can also choose the output file name, which could be useful, depending on how you've set…
