- Sometimes your image is going to have really bad problems when it comes to color balance and RGB curves is an excellent way to fix it. Sure we can use temperature and tint but the change may not be universal, it may not be present in all channels. So, let's explore how a curve can solve this. Let's go to 04_02 and we've got two instances of a clip. The first and the color corrected one and what I see is that we've made changes. The white line indicates the global change and the colored lines indicate a change per channel. So, let's start there. We're going to begin by opening up the mid tones a little bit and getting this a little bit brighter. That's definitely helping. And I see that the overall exposure has really moved along nicely. But the blue channel is too present, so if I start to pull that blue channel down, notice how it becomes more in line with the others and let's go to the red channel here and pull that up a little bit and it color balances.
